A worksheet is the pricing spreadsheet for one job. Start one from the job (Materials → Start worksheet) or from roof measuring.
- Enter or check the measurements.
- Add a whole material list (e.g. Asphalt re-roof), or single materials.
- Set waste: per material, or one % for the whole job. Type a quantity in Your quantity to override one.
- In Sub pay and price, set the pitch (e.g. 6/12), storeys and complexity (1–6, 7–12 or 12+ facets). Press Save.
The box then shows the sub pay line by line (shingle bundles × the rate for the pitch + the complexity amount, ridge cap, vented ridge, plywood, removal, eavestrough by storey…), the materials, the total cost, and the price at each target (42% and 45%: cost ÷ 0.58 and cost ÷ 0.55), per square foot and with the financing fee. Type what you sold it for to see its gross profit %.
Into the quote
- Type the option name (e.g. “Good: Silver Pledge”) and choose A new estimate or an existing draft estimate.
- Click Use this price under the target you want. The estimate opens with that option at exactly that price.
- For Better and Best, change the worksheet (another shingle, extra items) and use the price again into the same estimate.
Sub pay rates, targets, the financing fee and complexity levels are in Settings → Pricing & sub pay.
