Commissions and sales goals

  • Each completed job pays its sales rep 5% of the gross profit before tax, or 7% when it’s flagged Self Generated.
  • Each rep’s yearly sales goal ÷ 12 is their monthly goal. Sales count in the month the job reaches your completion stage.
  • Commission is paid only on sales above the monthly goal. A month under goal carries the shortfall forward (into the next year too) until sales above goal make it up.
  • An Admin / Manager reviews each job’s commission when it’s completed and Approves it (optionally with an adjustment and a note). Approved numbers don’t change.

Where

Commissions in the menu: every rep by month, quarter, half-year or year, and the jobs to review. A rep’s page shows month by month and job by job. Sales goals (button on Commissions): each sales manager’s and rep’s yearly goal, the monthly goal, sales so far and ahead/behind, and a month-by-month grid (green = goal met). Admin / Managers set the goals there, for this year or next. Rates and the month goals start counting are in Settings → Commissions.
