Price list (Materials)
Every material you buy and sell: name, unit (bundle, roll, piece …), your cost, the customer price, the usual waste %, whether it rounds up to whole units, the supplier and the profit category. Start from Load the sample roofing list and change it. Change many at once raises costs or prices by a percentage. Every change is kept in the material’s price history.
Material lists
A list says which materials a type of job needs and how much, worked out from the measurements: measurement × factor + a fixed amount. For example shingles = squares × 3 bundles; ridge cap = ridge & hips × 0.05; drip edge = (eaves + rakes) × 0.1 pieces; sealant = 4 tubes.
