Work InProgress runs your jobs from the first call to the final payment: customers, jobs on a board of stages, roof measuring, pricing, proposals the customer signs online, change orders, invoices and payments, job costs and profit, commissions, crews and their time clock.
Signing in
- Go to your company’s address (for example goliath.w-inprogress.com). Bookmark it.
- Enter your email and password. Forgot it? Click Forgot your password and we email you a link.
- On a phone, open the same address and use your browser’s Add to Home Screen so it opens like an app.
Finding your way
The menu on the left (the ☰ button on a phone) has every part you can use. What’s in it depends on your level (see Who can do what). Home is your dashboard. Help & support has this manual and lets you send us a problem.
First things to set up (Admin / Managers)
- Company: name, address, phone, email, HST number and time zone.
- Settings → Workflow stages: rename or recolour the stages your jobs move through.
- Settings → Job numbers: your number format, e.g. 1373-0001.
- Materials: load the sample roofing price list and change it to your costs and prices.
- Team & logins: invite your office, sales reps, crews and subs.
- Import: bring your customers over from Leap or a spreadsheet.
- Settings → Proposals & contract and Quote templates: your letter, terms, warranty, logo and product sheets.
